I won an item then realized the seller has 1 negative where they didn’t send the buyer his item.

I feel uncomfortable sending the seller my money knowing he may not send my item either?

the total is over 300 whereas the previous auction they didn’t send item total was only 55.00.

Do I have any options of contacting EBay to guarantee funds in case I never get my item? I’d rather not wait the 30 days required by EBay getting reimbursed using the product guarantee option?

You don't have to wait 30 days for eBay money back guarantee matter-of-fact 30 days is the limit 

You only need to wait for 1 day after the estimated delivery date to file a claim.
