I shipped a return without using the eBay supplied return label.

I shipped a return that the seller accepted but did not use the eBay supplied label. The seller is responsible for shipping, but I shipped on my dime. I just want to mark the item as shipped, but there isn't a way to do this or provide a tracking number? Kind of stuck.

I am not looking to have the seller pay for my shipping just to refund the amount I am supposed to receive.

Here's how to add the tracking information to your return if you used your own return shipping label:

1. Go to the return request in Purchase History
2. Select the shipping carrier from the dropdown list. If you select Other, enter the carrier name.
3. Enter the tracking number.
4. Select Mark as sent.

Unfortunately the option to select a carrier from the dropdown doesn't exist. I have the option to print the label or scan the QR code utilizing the eBay shipping but no way to enter the tracking number. The seller acknowledged receipt in a message, but just waiting on him because he is disputing the amount of the refund with eBay, and I cannot even mark the item as shipped. Will have to wait and see on this one but the website is less user friendly than ever with all of the automated help.
