I received a message from a Buyer asking for tracking number for an item

I never received payment and no where does it show up in my Account. Also, no payment received.

Advise the buyer to log into eBay and pay so you can ship. 

On eBay, if a buyer has paid, 

- you'll see this on your eBay account, 

- the funds will be "pending" (you can see this), 

- your item will be marked sold, and 

- you will be prompted by eBay to ship.

You won't have the deposit from eBay yet, but you'll be able to see that eBay has the funds as soon as the buyer pays.

If you see the payment IS on eBay, then print a label on eBay and ship the item.

Thank you. I've sold on eBay for several years. This has never happened before. I received no payment n there are no pending or in hold transactions. Do I assume it's a scam?

No scam ,just a buyer who hasn't paid. 

After 4days cancel the sale due to nonpayment and the buyer receives a strike and your fees will be returned.

The buyer may think he "autopaid"
Just remind him to log into his or her account to pay so you can ship.
