I need to return an item.

The seller has indicated that they will send me a return shipping label on March 21st however I am leaving the country on March 19th it will not be back for 28 days. How can I resolve this since I cannot get a hold of eBay's live agents for assistance?

You should open a Return Request. You will get a return label promptly

Do not close your return request until you either have your refund in hand or you have the replacement item. Do not close it because the seller promises you something.

If I do a return request the seller has 3 days to respond with instructions on how to return it which means that I will be out of the country by then. So that was not very helpful. The seller already said they were going to send me a return label which I would get by March 21st. Since I am leaving the country today the 19th that is absolutely of no use.

Often times the label is issued instantly. Please try it to see what happens.

Once the seller issues the label you will have some time to return the item.

You can also reach Customer Service here, but you should open a return request within 30 days of the delivery of your item. Once you get the label, you have time to return it.

If your item arrived 2-3 days ago, you may want to open the return request while you are on your trip, close to the 30 day mark. Then you'll be able to return it after you come home.

Thanks for your help. Apparently somebody saw my message and my problem and sent me a return postage label. So I was able to ship the package today. 🙏
