I can't get help

I can't get help from ebay. The seller hasn't responded to my messages and it's been almost a week and my item hasn't been shipped. I can't contact ebay to report the seller. I want my money back, but I can't get a hold of an agent to help me. The seller hasn't responded in 3 days. Don't tell me to wait. It should have been shipped by now. I can't even call ebay for help. The automated won't let me talk to a human. I'm thinking of closing my account. This is ridiculous that I can't even get a human being

There is no way of knowing for sure that the item has not been shipped. Not all sellers mark their items as shipped nor provide tracking.

You cannot take any action until the latest estimated date of delivery has passed.

There is no need to talk to anyone at eBay.   If you don't get a package from the seller by the time the estimated delivery date you were given when you paid has fully passed, go to your Purchase History for that item, click the link for more options and select that you haven't received the item, then follow instructions from there.  If you haven't gotten the item as described or a full refund after 3 days (but before 21 days) from doing so go back and you should find a link to "Ask eBay to step in" to get your refund.

It depends on when you placed the order.

That book seller has a 4 day handling time, meaning they have 4 business days to get it shipped.

If you ordered it last Friday or the weekend, they have until Thursday to ship.
