I bought something when I wasn't signed in, how do I communicate with that seller?

Greetings - I recently bought something on eBay without being logged in, so the purchase doesn't show up in my purchase history. How do I link that purchase to my eBay account, so that I can communicate with the seller? I tried looking up the seller and sending them a message while logged in, but haven't gotten a reply and don't even see that message in my My eBay stuff. Thanks in advance for your advice!

Guest purchases are not connected to your eBay account.

To deal with a guest purchase, sign out of your current eBay account, then use the link in the email that eBay sent regarding the guest order or see here:

Purchases made as a guest are separate from purchases made as a registered member. You will need to sign in with the email address you used as a guest along with the PASSCODE that ebay sent to you in an email. Then you can file a Returns Request.

You cannot link your guest purchase to your Ebay account.

To contact the seller regarding your guest purchase, find the Order Confirmation email that you were sent then click on Order Details and select Contact the seller on the order page.
