How to submit tracking number for a return package with UPS

Hello everyone I need help I'm trying to submit a UPS tracking number but the system won't let me because it automatically send me to buy the shipping label for USPS but I used a different shipping company which is UPS but the system won't let me submit the tracking number and the package was already delivered and the seller is saying that I need to submit the tracking number but I'm not able to without having to purchase the shipping label please help thank you
