How to stop automatic "allow offers" when relisting?

Every time I relist an object, eBay in it's infinite wisdom turns on "allow offers."  How do I stop this without having to go into the listing, edit "Pricing" and "More Options," then toggling off the option. 

Doing this with every relist is time consuming.  If I wanted to allow offers, I would have turned this option one when I listed it.   Thanks in advance.

In the past this happened by default when creating a listing using the eBay app or the Quick Listing Tool.

I understand this is the default setting by eBay.  Can I turn it off or change my default settings for relisting?  Having to manually turn it off for each I item relist is time-consuming.   Thanks again.

In the past those options depended on what was done when the listing was originally created.

Allowing offers was the default for any listing made using the app or the Quick Listing Tool. So any items listed using those would always default to allowing offers when relisting.

Possibly things have changed since then. You may want to ask on the Selling board for the latest advice from current sellers.

I have not used the "new" listing tool or the business tool (or whatever the latest desktop versions are called), but try those to list and see if the options you want are there when creating a listing.
