I live in one country and have bought an item for a friend in another country. I want to send their email address to the seller so the seller can complete the customs form and tracking so that my friend can track and ensure they are home when it is due to arrive. However ebay deletes any message that has an email address in it.
I welcome any suggestions on how I can get around this.
I realise this block is because ebay are paranoid about emails in case people do deals and skip paying ebay their fees, but surely after the item has been purchased there must be some way I can advise the seller of the name, address, phone number and email of the recipient. This info is required by customs or the package will be returned to the seller.
