How to look up member by username- Still no luck

I want to look up an old member by his username, not sure if he is still active. I am not trying to contact him, just want to view his feedback file and see if he's still on ebay. I posted this question before, and got one answer that didnt help. I was told to go to my own feedback file and substitute my user name for his in my profile, but that doesnt work.  Anyway, if I made that change in my name it could not be changed back for 30 days per ebay rules, not to mention that it would create a tangled mess. You use to be able to go to "advanced search" and then see "members" on the left side of screen, but that is gone. THERE HAS TO BE A WAY for such a simple endeavor.

How to look up member by username- Still no luck

< got one answer that didnt help >

Go here:  https://pages.ebay.com/services/forum/feedback-login.html  Use the page that opens to take you to the member's feedback profile.  From there, you can click Contact Member, View Items for Sale, or whatever.  There are a couple of other ways, but this is the easiest.

I tested the link above to see if it's still good, and it was, but eBay is forever making changes.  So... it is the easiest way, but if you have trouble, try the next way:

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

The following will find any member.  The reason I put a space between the W's is to prevent the character string from becoming a link when I posted this text... when it's a link it's hard to copy.

  •   Copy this:  w ww.ebay.com/usr/username
  •   Paste it into the address field at the top of a page.
  •   Delete the space so that all three W's are together.
  •   Replace the word "username" with the member's actual username.
  •   Tap the Enter key on your keyboard.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

The following is my canned answer to how to find a seller.  It's handy if you're simultaneously going to include some search keywords or other filters.

Go to Advanced Search, by clicking the small "Advanced" link just to the right of the big blue Search button near the top right of practically every eBay Transaction page; not these Community pages, they've removed it from here.

Once there, in the sidebar on the left click the [Find items] By seller link.  This jumps you to the bottom of the page, to the "Sellers" section; you could have just scrolled down there.

In the Sellers section, put a checkmark in the Only show items from box.  Then paste or type the seller's username into the field provided for it.  You can click Search at the very bottom.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

If the user has no active or recent listings, you can reach a user's feedback or profile page by first going to your own page, then substituting the username in the page address in place of your own username.

Or try this link:
