How to detect scammers?

Hello, I recently found a gaming console through facebook market and I reached the seller via email, she said that could send her my information like name,shipping address and phone (not banking info) to reserve the item through ebay but I am not sure if thats possible to do...I am a little skeptical about it and I would really appreciate if someone could help. (not banking info)

How to detect scammers?

@aacor_5987

"She" is a liar and a scammer - eBay doesn't have anything to do with FB Marketplace.

It's the start of a scam to get your money usually thru gift card payments and fake eBay "invoices".

Google for yourself "ProPublica" + "How to avoid being scammed on Facebook Marketplace" to see what's going on over there. It's a criminal's playground.

All I had to do is read "Facebook Marketplace" to know it was a SCAM!

Ebay has absolutely NO correlation to Facebook Marketplace or any other website.

You are dealing with a CRIMINAL  that is trying to steal your money. Cease all communication with this thief and report the ad to Facebook Marketplace.
