How to correct a Lot of 2 order.

The customer ordered an item of 10, but the listing was a lot of 2, so the customer should have gotten 20. How do I correct this? The customer hasn't said anything yet, but I want to correct it before he brings up the issue.  The question is, will ebay give me another shipping label for this if I ask?

Re: How to correct a Lot of 2 order.

If this listing is for a pair of items, then the displayed price is for that pair. If a buyer chooses 10 of those pairs, then the buyer will receive 20 items. eBay may indicate the buyer purchased 10, but the purchase would have been for 20 pairs.

Did you ship only 10 instead of 20? If so, then ship the other half. You can go to the same sale, and select the option to print another label. eBay will warn that a label has already been purchased. Ignore the warning and enter the weight for the second box and purchase that label. Both tracking numbers will be assigned to the same sale.  Let the buyer know that the second shipment is on the way and provide the tracking number.
