How to combine shipping after the buyer pay for his items

My buyer paid for all the items individually and now wants combine shipping

When you print the label if the buyer paid without an invoice then be sure to select all items then select print shipping labels from the top the list.   This will then apply the tracking to all items in your order, this is very important.   

Once you do this you will know the shipping cost of the new package.  

Then you can refund the buyer the shipping overcharge.  I recommend refunding some off of each item and not all from one sold item.  eBay does refund your sellers fees on the partial refund amount.    

Go to the sold item and select Send Refund from the drop-down menu next to the item.
Next screen select the reason for the refund> enter the amount> submit I like to take some off of each item and not the order total just in case on item is returned.

Go to your Awaiting shipment page here: Orders — eBay Seller Hub

Check the boxes beside the items the customer purchased, then go to the top of the list and on the left use the pull down menu to Print shipping label and click that.

The next page will be the Bulk label page, check the items again and then go to the top of the list and click Combine.

You will see over on the right where you can change the weight and dimensions and shipping method (if necessary) to get an updated price for you to ship all the item in one box.  Use the review and print function in the upper right hand corner of the page.

If you want a receipt it will be a secondary print function after you have printed the label.

You can Refund the Buyer the shipping overage on the orders ... let us know if you need help with that part.

Thank you very much for your help and information, if you don’t mind I also would like to know how I can set my combine preferences because I  must be doing something wrong.

 I had suggested to a few customers that buy  a few articles at a time to put the items in the cart (as per EBay suggestion) but they tell me that wheN they do and ask for combine shipping 

my preferences are not set up for combined shipping, but I thought I had done it to the best of my knowledge.

So, if you can guide me of how to set it up it would be greatly appreciated.
