How to cancel an accepted return

I sold an item, buyer requested partial refund or full refund and return.

We couldn’t come to an agreement at first and so I choose to accept the return.

We ended up messaging more and came back to a partial refund agreement.

Can eBay cancel that return so that the seller is not refunding the full payment back to the seller?

The buyer would have to cancel the return request, but that would not be a wise move IMO because if they do that there is no guarantee that the seller would comply with the agreement.
