How to I mark a sold item shipped. Did not use Ebay shipping

I took the package to the USPS myself.  I have sent a message to buyer with tracking.

Go to

Seller Hub > Orders > Awaiting shipment

Locate the item, upload the tracking number from the receipt from USPS.

If you print your shipping labels on ebay, you get a discount.  If you pay at the USPS counter, you are paying retail prices.

The important thing is to manually type the Tracking number on the Sold item the day you ship it.  Without tracking you have NO protection if the Buyer claims they did not receive the item.  Sending them the tracking number is meaningless just so you know.

When you print labels through eBay not only do you get a discount on everything except USPS Media Mail but they automatically upload the tracking number to the sold file for you.

Actually it turned out to be a bit less at the post office.
