How is it that many sellers do not write nor make a effort to provide a description of their item

I have run into a number of items, that I was considering on purchasing, but the sellers does not provide any description to their item.  I as a seller, do my best to provide a accurate description of my item as well as full condition, that majority of sellers feel that they do not need to, quote "just look at my images" that is all the description I need.

It's frustrating isn't it.

Those sellers are losing sales and selling at lower prices because they don't use at least a basic description.
