That is not possible, they are to be used to buy items on eBay.

Hi! eBay gift cards are like cash as you can redeem them on the site. You cannot however redeem them for legal currency (USD For example) Here's a how-to I pulled on how to redeem them on the site:

Your eBay eGift Card can only be redeemed at eBay.com

Enter the code

At checkout, enter the redemption code in the Gift cards, coupons and eBay bucks section.
