Ebay messaged me a label I have to print out. I don't have a printer and I don't live where I can ask someone or go to a library to use their printer.
So I asked the seller to send me a return label.
They said I have to get that from Ebay.
But I cannot contact Ebay to get them to mail me one.
That's my main problem.
The secondary one is:
The seller said the item could be returned before the end of February, but Ebay says I have to have it returned by the end of January.
Thanks for your help/suggestions.

Would you be able to go to a FedEx office and use one of the rental computers there?

I group my trips into town, doing many errands at once. I won't be going back for a while, yet Ebay has shortened my return time by half.
Why can't they send me a label?

Hi @certifiedpublichugger Sorry you ran into a this seller. I can't tell if you've filed an official Return request with eBay or not. If you have not, do so now. The seller has 4 days to send you a pre-paid return label. You don't need a printer. One of the options is to View return QR code. When you click it, you will see a QR code that you can download through the app if you use the app on your phone, or take a picture of it with your phone and show it to the clerk at the post office. There is also the option to have the QR code emailed to you. If you have your email on your phone, that's another way to have it for the clerk. The clerk will print the label for you. That option also involves going to the post office, which is a drag, but doesn't require a printer. I'm not sure if mail carriers have the ability to scan the QR codes, but if you're friendly with your carrier, you might ask them.
Two options that come with the label the seller sends, then the QR code, then the option to have it emailed to you:
I have this at my fingertips because I just had a return today. Cracks me up when a seller tries to get silly with one of us, literally not knowing who they're dealing with. Don't take any silliness from your seller, either. They are not correct that eBay sends the label. It is sent through eBay Messages, but at the seller's instruction. Good luck!

Hi @certifiedpublichugger Here is a screenshot of the messages in your My eBay Messages after you file an official Return for Item Not As Described in the Listing - the very last option on the list of reasons for return. One is the seller accepted the return. They have 4 days after you file an official Return to accept it and send a return shipping label/QR code. The message says "Print shipping label" but the QR code option is also in there. Again, good luck!

My phone is a phone.
I do my internet on my computer.
This Q code thingie isn't an option because my phone isn't connected to the internet and I don't have a printer right now.
I was able to finally speak with someone via chat, and they are having a pickup arranged.
I'll know for sure in a few days.
Thank you all for your responses.

Hi @certifiedpublichugger Glad someone is helping you with a pickup. Even if your phone is not connected to the internet, you could get the QR code on your computer and take a picture of it with your phone then show that to the post office counter person. Done it many times, really just because it's so easy. The screenshots I posted are off my computer. It's fine if that's not what you want to do, but for the benefit of the many readers who read these threads, wanted that clear. Good luck!
