How do I find what collectables sold price? Comic books specifically

I have been trying to find what comic books sell for but all I find is what sellers have listed...I find a wide range in pricing so I feel I would be able to list a fairer price if I knew exact sold price...

Any information would be appreciated...

You can do a regular Ebay search for a specific comic title, and then on the left hand side of the search page, click on "Sold items" underneath "Show only".
