A buyer purchased an item and didn't receive it by the estimated arrival date so they opened a case while I was away from home. I sent them a message stating that I would take care of the issue once I returned. The day before I returned, at 6:40 PM, I received a message from Ebay stating, "The buyer has asked eBay Customer Service to review this case and make a final decision." At 6:42 PM I received the news that the case was decided in favor of the buyer.
I contacted the buyer and asked why they asked Ebay to step in when I said I'd take care of the issue. The buyer let me know that he did receive the package and he was happy with what he got. He also said that he didn't ask Ebay to step in and that he didn't know they were allowed to do such a thing. Now I'm trying to contact customer service and keep getting routed to pages that give me information that has nothing to do with what I'd like to discuss. Help & Contact are useless. Does anybody know how to get a customer service rep on the phone?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
