How do I cancel or get refund for a shipping label that was not used

Good morning to any one reading. We sold an item and purchased the label. Customer/buyer then had someone pick up the item. So the label was never used but I can find a way to cancel it. Label of course as never used or scanned and the only option Ebay offers is to cancel the sale but customer obviously got his item.

hover over 'Orders' from seller hub

click on 'shipping labels’

click on drop down arrow next to the sold item

click on ‘void label’

There is a time limit to do so, I think 24 hours

The time limit for Voiding a USPS label is 5 days frm the date you printed the label.

You can Reprint a label for up to 24 hours after printing/attempted printing the label.
