How can you have 0 Views and 1 watcher? This doesn't make sense

It is possible to add an item to a Watch List without opening the listing and incurring a view.

Also possible to add an item to a Watch List and wait thirty days for the view to no longer be counted towards the 30-day view total.

Also possible for eBay to not be displaying total views correctly or to miscount views.
