How can I stop items I click on to stop opening in a new window

how can I stop items I click on to stop opening in a new window. I have my windows setting set to open items in the same window. Ebay is the only site I have this problem with.

Using a desktop browser, from your search results page when searching by keyword, click on the icon in the upper right that allows you to choose between List or Gallery view, and choose "Customize".

From that menu you should have the option to choose whether search results open in a new tab or the same browser tab.
