I have a store selling sewing patterns. Those are the only listings in my store so far. I have a bunch of personal stuff I want to sell, but I don't want these items showing up in my store. Is there a way to create a store category that won't show up in the store? Is that what the "Other" category is for?
Thanks for your input!

Hi @argentphil
All of the items you list under your user ID will appear in your store. (Items belong to the user ID, not the store - the store is for viewing purposes.) To accomplish what you want, you'd have to open another account with a new user ID and email address for the other items.
The Other category is for items that aren't assigned yet to one of the categories you've already created. If a category doesn't have any items assigned to it, it won't appear in the list when looking at the store.

Thanks for the response. I'll sell the items elsewhere. Not going the route of a second account and starting out at zero feedback. eBay should allow this, it would be easy enough to implement. Having a second account is just crazy.
Thanks again

Many sellers have multiple selling accounts. Additionally many sellers sell a variety of unrelated items all out of the same store and just separate out the different types of items into custom categories. eBay sellers have been doing this for decades.
