High Max Bid Not Registered

I entered a high max bid, but the item was sold to someone else for much less.  I know I can't get the item, but I want to report this as an IT / account issue.  The automated system is no help, and there's no way to contact an actual person on my schedule (2nd shift).

What is the item number so we can look at the bid history?  Did you make your max high bid toward the very end of the auction?  Perhaps you didn't allow enough time for your bid to register on ebay's servers.  Once we can see the bid history, someone will be able to explain what happened.
