My account of over 20 years was suspended for recent inactivity and there's absolutely no option to get ANY help without signing into your account which is IMPOSSIBLE on a suspended account!!! If I request password reset, it says unable to find your account. If I attempt to create a new account with my original eBay email, it says you're already signed up with us...
All phone, online, etc support ALL redirects you to sign in or just texts you a link to sign in. Ebay chat and phone says they no longer support live chat or phone support and their automated chat gives the exact same generic response to ALL questions. I'm posting the question via a brand new ebay account I created specifically for the purpose of finding out how to reinstate my old suspended account.

@taytay_61 the ebay message should have detailed the reason for the suspension and supply a button to click on to contact them.
Contact eBay via their social media sites with a private message:

Thank you for your response! 🙏 The email they sent me had that link you mentioned but clicking the link directed me to a sign-in page which had the same problem I already detailed. Unfortunately, I deleted my Facebook page 10 years ago and never had a Twitter account (I'm just not a fan of social media). If creating a new Facebook page is what it takes then I'll do it. I just hope it doesn't redirect me to yet another sign-in page in order to get any help at all. At this point it's looking like eBay has made a very concerted effort to make all suspensions irrevocably permanent regardless of whether it was something as benign as inactivity from being out of the country. I was working on ships with exceptionally limited internet access... I'll try Facebook after work and pray that it works.
We want your journey here to be as great as can be, so we have put together some links to help you get quickly familiarized with the eBay Community.
