Help with a Mix Up

Hello I'm looking for help with a selling issue.

I reversed two orders, meaning I sent the wrong item to two different buyers.

The first person contacted me and let me know they received the wrong item. I asked that they return it.

The second buyer had not yet received her package. I reached out to her immediately and let her know the situation and asked that she not open the package and have it marked returned to sender.

The following day tracking showed the 2nd package was delivered. The buyer said that although it shows as delivered she has not received the package.

I followed up with her 4 different days and have received a response.

I'm not sure where to go from here.

Any advice would be greatly appeciated.

Thanks!

Re: Help with a Mix Up

Always have buyer open Return Requests for you to approve and let ebay send a prepaid return label.

If you do not get the item back from the 2nd buyer soon, refund the first buyer.

If the second buyer received the more expensive item by mistake, don't count of them returning it, and unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it.

You can contact USPS and have them confirm that it actually was delivered to the proper address, as it may have been actually delivered elsewhere by mistake.   If an expensive item, see if they can retrieve it and if so pay to have it returned to you.   Don't refund the second buyer until you get it back.
