Has E Bay actually assisted anyone in getting a refund ?

After numerous emails back and forth with a couple e bay reps - they quit responding. This was for a driveshaft purchase a couple years ago. I gave up . Was a 180.00 purchase
I tried buying through E Bay again for a different purchase and have contacted the seller 2x re a failed product - no response at all.
It's time now to try contacting E Bay again - just wondering if it is worth the effort.

@savoy8060_8 was the product under warranty?
ebay gives 30 days to open a case, PayPal gives 180 days, and a bank's timeline will vary on a credit card dispute.
I doubt anyone will cover you after 2 years unless it's under warranty.

The seller gave a 30 day warranty - but the product carries a 2 year warranty. Not sure how that works
Have tried contacting the seller 3x. They don't respond.
Tried getting E Bay to help with a refund on a different product a ago as I mentioned originally. The E Bay reps were not impressive at all - must have had 8 or so correspondence's before they simply quit responding.
As for this purchase, suppose I will settle for writing a truly bad review on the seller and mention E Bay's poor performance in the same writeup.
Will also not use E Bay any more - too risky, especially if the product is chinese.

@savoy8060_8 try contacting the manufacturer of the drive shaft since they give that 2 yr warranty
as far as leaving a review for the seller or ebay, you have up to 60 days after the purchase to do so
sorry to hear u don't want to purchase from ebay any more
have your other purchases been successful ?
