This is the situation:
The buyer paid for an item and the postage.
The item arrived broken and buyer sent good pictures of damage.
If I requested that they return it they would have to pay the return postage per the listing, but I told them to just discard it as it was not worth returning.
My question is:
When I send a full refund to them am I supposed to include the postage they paid when they bought the item?
I can't find this answer anywhere on ebay so I hope someone here can help. Thanks.

If the buyer received a damaged item, they need to file a Return Request through Ebay. Then you can approve the return and issue a full refund without having them return the item. (which would include the shipping charges they paid when they purchased the item)
