I haven't sold anything for a couple of years and the 'machine' is not recognizing my current address...I live in the rocky mountains and we do NOT have home postal delivery....so will not let me use my PO Box OR my street address and I have no clue how to contact anyone to help...any suggestions? This is frustrating!
The problem is that we do not get home delivery where we live...so it's not IN the USPS database...we have PO Boxes, which Ebay will not accept in setting up my seller profile (apparently)...so I'm in no man's land...i typed in our address and Nada...not 'recognized'
While you can use the PO Box for the to/from address for selling and buying, you do need a physical street address to set up Managed Payments. What address does UPS or FedEx use to deliver? That would have to be a street address.
The address that I have submitted and that EBay will NOT confirm...i've received literally hundreds of deliveries from UPS and Fedex at my street address...so, yeah...VERY frustrating at this point and they will not allow me to override the USPS data (where my street address is not recognized...)
No...it's just as a 'seller'...I really need to talk to someone from EBay...the payments etc are working just fine. As I said, I had sold things a few years ago from an old address...in trying to update to my new address as a seller, it's not going through as the UPSP database doesn't recognize it and a PO Box will not suffice. I chatted with customer service and am awaiting a response. I was just hoping that someone else who lives in a funky area had a solution
Yes, others have had this problem. If you don't hear from the rep, use the media links. Reps there are better trained and can pass it on to someone with authority to fix it.
