Why doesn’t EBay require/strongly advise that Sellers include certain measurements when listing clothing. Giving size is just a starting point, as pertinent measurements such as armpit-armpit or shoulder-hem can vary by several inches on a garment of same listed size in same brand….…… and, if garment has been put in dryer, it can be several inches different than when new.
….same with jackets, pants (inseam, waist), etc.
….nice to show fabric content too.
It is frustrating as buyer to have to contact Seller after Seller, asking for what info they know they should have included.
I’ve politely asked sellers why they don’t include this - they thank me for my ‘suggestion’ , usually indicate they don’t consider this info important, tell me it adds too much time….. quite frankly, it seems pretty lazy on their part.
And yet eBay requires certain info on jewelry and other categories before the listing can be completed….. why not bust/chest measurements , lengths on skirts, tops, inseams on pants, etc?
Just so tired of having to ask each seller for this info on multiple items …..
The buying experience could be so improved with this requirement.

I agree that sellers need to do that. One 'but' though.
Each garment is different. If a seller has ten jackets, they all are different. So, the measurements are a guess.
