Getting Error uploading photos

I am getting an error when tryng to upload my photos. It is saying that they must be in Jpeg, Png or Hiec. I have them on my laptop and have always done it the same way. I haven't added any new items for a few months and now it won't let me. I have tried to scan the items with a new scanner and am getting the same message. I have cleaned my cache. I have decreased the pixels. They are not over 2,000 kms. I am not computer savvy, so I am struggling. Any suggestions would be so helpful. Thank you

I would suggest that you first try to upload an older image that was previously successful so that you can determine if there is some other communications issue.  If the older image uploads, the problem could be a new change in the camera's "save": possibly format, size, or resolution. 

If the older image fails to upload, then there may be some communications issue between your computer and eBay.
