Gauging rule

My listing was removed due to the gauging rule. Why is it that the same item sells on ebay for the same price I was trying to sell at?

Price gouging. 
It took me a few minutes to realize you didn’t have a listing for a gauging rule(r) removed.  

There are some things that only pre approved sellers can list. 

Items like hand sanitizer, masks, cleaning products, they were put on the list in the spring of 2020 because they were being sold at a high markup.

That was not the message I got from Ebay.  They said it has to do with price gauging policy of Ebay. But there were, and still are, sellers selling the same item at the same price.
