Forgot my password

I forgot my password for my eBay account that I haven't used in several years. Unfortunately my phone number has changed and it is the only way I can reset my password. My other eBay account gives me an email option as well as text. I talked to customer support and they told me there is nothing they can do and I'll just have to start a new account. I have over 500 positive feedbacks on that account. It took years to get that many and probably over 2,000 transactions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

From the sign in page, enter your username for the account you have forgotten the password for, then use the "Need help signing in?" link below the password field. From there, use the link to "reset" your password, and on the same page you should see a link to contact eBay if you are having problems signing in. Contact eBay. You will have to verify that you are the original account holder in order to have your phone number updated.
