Findind a specific user

My item has received multiple bids from the same user. The Reserve Price has been met. The bidder has over 1,000 transactions to his credit. When I search for his user name, there are no results...why can't I find him/her?

If you are searching on the Advanced Search page by entering the username in the Seller field, the user may not have any current items for sale, or may be just a buyer.

If you can see the user's feedback or profile page, you have already found the user. That may be all that is publicly available.
