Final Value Fee discount for Top-rated sellers

Ebay says: A 10% discount on your standard final value fees, which is calculated on the total amount of the sale, including shipping and tax. The discount does not apply to the $0.30 per order portion of the final value fee.      I pay a final value fee of 14.55%.  With the discount, will if be 4.55% or is it 10% of the actual final value fee?  Pretty sure it is the lesser, but I was hoping to get confirmation.  Thanks

It is not 10% of the item, it is 10% of the fee.  So 13.1% instead of 14.55%.

Re: Final Value Fee discount for Top-rated sellers

I have looked at a few of your listings.  In order to get the 10% discount for being a TRS the listing must have 30 day free returns specified.  Although you offer 30 days returns you have the buyer paying for the return shipping.   This automatically removes the 10% discount.

@jacbarcollectibles

sellers do not have to offer free returns on books and a number of other categories to get the discount. Some you don't have to accept any returns. 🙂
