Did you mean:

Feedback.

Why do 2 different sellers, in different states, have exactly the same feedback from exactly the same buyers???

How can you trust them?

I have tried to find a phone number for a living /breathing Ebay customer service representative, but no luck.

Even Amazon treats their customers better than this!!

Re: Feedback.

It does sound odd, but I don't know what you expect customer service to tell you.

To speak to customer service, follow the instructions on this page to work through the automated assistant to request a call back - select agent when it is an option -

Re: Feedback.

eBay is not going to give you account specific information about a seller any more than they would give a seller account specific information about you. If you don't feel comfortable about buying from one of these sellers, then it would be best to find another seller.

Re: Feedback.

I'm sorry, I presumed that a sellers "feed back" rating had at least a certain amount of truthfulness and reliability to use as a guide when considering whether to make a purchase from them, or not.

Seems to me that if you, as a seller, somehow have the ability to "pad" your feed back rating to make you appear more reliable somehow doesn't seem too honest.

I just thought Ebay may want to know about it. because it ultimately reflects back on them and their business practices and, most importantly, a customer's confidence in making purchase through Ebay.

But that's just me.

Thank you for your response to the question.

Re: Feedback.

@nefritz52

Your post mentioned nothing about sellers "padding" their feedback or that somehow the seller's feedback rating was not in some way reliable or useful as a guide.

If a seller were selling the exact same items under two IDs, that would be a reportable policy violation. But that would not be a way to "pad" feedback (as the feedback would be divided among two separate accounts). Sellers can't "add" feedback to their account.

I sell some the same items that several other sellers sell as well. My suppliers sell to multiple eBay sellers and sellers elsewhere. Some of the repeat buyers that I sell to buy from both me and from the other sellers. Why they do this depends on several factors...does one seller have all the items available that the buyer wants that day? Does the buyer just not care who he buys from and so buys from different sellers each time? Could the pricing or combined shipping be different when he buys from a seller located closer to him versus one who is further from him? Those are just a few reasons. There is nothing nefarious going on.

We can't see the listings of the sellers you are looking at, so we can't evaluate whether you are assuming something or there actually is some problem. If you think there is a problem, you were provided with a contact link to report it.

Re: Feedback.

@nefritz52  eBay always wants to hear your opinions - I only meant that they can't tell you anything about the sellers.  Both IDs might even be the same seller - many sellers use multiple IDs.

As @mega-ma-roo described, there are several ways to contact customer service.  The social media contacts might be the easiest to use to express your concerns on these 2 sellers.
