I sold a shower door and I was unsure of the weight because my scales wouldn't work for this package so I had the FedEx employee weigh and measure the door for me and tell me how much it would be through them without an ebay label. After giving me the price I told him I wanted to see how much it would be through ebay with my discount and asked him for the weight and measurements. I put the exact measurements and weight that he provided for me and it came out to be $70 for the label as apposed to their $110 or whatever it was. I purchased the ebay label and sent the package. Now over 2 weeks later my ebay funds just got charged $330 for shipping fees that FedEx says I owe for that package. I didn't even sell the door for that much. There's no way I can afford that and I shouldn't have to pay it since I had the FedEx employee do the weight and measurements himself. What can I do to fix this?

@boosuniquebootique That sounds like a dimensional surcharge. A shower door is too large to ship unless you wish to pay very high shipping fees. That should have been local pick up only.
Only eBay customer service can file the dispute since they are the Fed Ex customer. I recommend contacting CS on social media to ask them to do this. Keep in mind that Fed Ex does sometimes add incorrect surcharges but there are CORRECT surcharges that you can read about on the Fed Ex website.
Personally if I have an item that is too large or heavy to ship via USPS then I use UPS and buy the label from PIrateship.com. Pirateship helps with insurance claims and surcharge disputes. UPS does have a list of valid surcharges on their website too. UPS does not add surcharges as often as Fed Ex does.
