Fed up with lack of protection for sellers

I'm sick of paying these seller fees and getting Nicole and Dimed to death by these penny vultures. EBay needs to have more protection for it's customers which are not the buyers but the sellers. I'm sick of the solution being send the buyer a small refund to resolve the issue. I explain everything perfect in listing I accept returns. Still eBay tells me I should refund money. In some cases the item is never returned. It's ridiculous. These cheap vultures buy a $250 item for $50 and expect it to be show room new. Then they don't want to pay the return shipping and ebay points at the sellers to take the hit. Anyone else have this problem about 1 of every 8 of my sales I spend countless time dealing with these type of people and its not fair. It stats clearly I accept returns buyer pays shipping. I have an issue evolving with on of these vultures again. What does Ebay do to protect my reputation and make sure I don't get the shaft? Does anyone know?
