I have reported dozens of listings that are Fake /Counterfeit and eBay responds that they did not find these items to be in any violation of eBay's rules. Here is what the actual rule states:
COUNTERFEIT ITEM POLICY:
WE DON'T ALLOW COUNTERFEIT ITEMS OR UNAUTHORIZED COPIES TO BE LISTED ON EBAY.
COUNTERFEIT PRODUCTS ARE ILLEGAL AND NOT ALLOWED ON EBAY.
ITEMS SOLD USING A BRAND OR A BRAND LOGO MUST BE ORIGINAL AND MADE BY THE BRAND OR MANUFACTURED ON THEIR BEHALF.
I have been a collector of Plasticville items for over 60 years and Plasticville NEVER MADE THIS PLAYSET.
In addition to reporting this item, I made several phone calls to eBay and they either don't answer or on 2 occasions when I finally got thru to them to explain this, they hung up on me. Has anyone else ever had this happen to them? Are there any suggestions on how to get eBay to STOP allowing Fake/Counterfeit items to be listed for sale? Should I file a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau? Thanks for reading and I hope that I get a response from eBay users.
