Error when I try to update any account information

Ebay needs me to update my account information (name, DOB, address, etc) but whenever I do it says "something went wrong. please try again later". This has been happening for nearly a month, and I get a similar message when I try to verify my email.

I don't know what to do anymore.

Try another browser or using the eBay app to verify your email address. In some cases that may help. You may have to verify your email address before you can change other information.

I recall one strange case of a user that somehow had two eBay accounts tied to the same email address; no matter what was tried it was impossible to verify the email address. The user finally had to use a different email address in order to be able to verify it. Once the email address was verified, the user was able to change the other registration information.
