Ending a promoted item

How can I end promoting an item when I don’t have the option

What I would suggest is to use the End function on the listing via the pull-down menu.  The item will be moved to your Unsold file.  Go there and use the Sell Similar function on the pull-down menu and create a complete new listing.  When you list the new listing make sure the Promotion is toggled off before putting it up live.

The reason for doing it this way is that a Promoted Listing gets a 30 day attribute tagged to it if someone opens and looks at the listing AND if that item sells within the 30 days they still charge you the Promoted ad rate.  Creating the new listing without the promotion eliminates the 30 day attribute if one exists.
