Email settings changed

Without making any changes to my account, I started receiving emails about delivery status of packages. I have not gotten these emails in the past or they were filtered out. This morning I went into my account settings and double checked my notifications preferences- made sure I wasn't getting email notifications. Saved. Still getting them. Happening to anyone else? Do I need to give it more time?
