Can we trust ebay like we did back in the day or have they priced themselves out of the market?

I'm not sure why you state that they have "priced themselves out of the market"? Where does that come from? While Ebay is not the cheapest site to sell on, it also is not the most expensive either. And the other less expensive sites, will they offer you the traffic or the selection that this site has to offer? Not likely!

Your comment sounds like a paid promotion. The bottom line is trust and Ebay has lost a lot since I started selling in 2011. I have a 5 star rating and a bountiful inventory of diverse collectibles I'm not willing sacrifice. One loss could remove the profits from several sales, leaving me with a careless platform. Now they want inside arbitration, outside the courts. I'm not one to run to the law, I'll take a loss and learn not to allow it to happen again. $160 down on a buying transaction with nothing but sorry, the seller said it was delivered, but no proof. Telling me the item was shipped on the 13, when in fact it was supposably delivered on the 11th. Then asking for feedback a few hours later, on the 13th. I can't afford the mixed messages combined with actual confusion of them not knowing what is going on. I won't take the chance of losing an item that you can't get anymore. Like a 1920 ladies beaded hat from Neiman Marcus when there were only 2 locations in the world. New York and Paris. Coach purses, Starbucks collectibles and a Princess beanie baby exactly like one that sold on Ebay for 6000. Leaving Ebay is a hard decision with a great seller and buyer rating, but their decline of happy customers is showing up everywhere, Google it.
