Ebay search result customization button gone

What happened to the customization button for search results? It has been completely missing for several days now, gone from where it had been. I am now stuck having to view 25 items at a time, that also no longer display the seller info and all the other things I had custimzations set to display. As it is now, I might as well quit using Ebay entirely. The customization button disappeared last week sometime. I am using windows 10 with the mozilla firefox browser running latest updates on both. I am thinking Ebay did it, as now today, I find myebay is also all screwed up.

I am also using Firefox on a Windows 10 machine, and I still see the "Customize" link when clicking on the option to view results as a gallery or list in search results (click to enlarge):

Make sure you are performing a search with keywords.

If you are using an ad blocker, it is possible that an overly aggressive rule is interfering with your menu options; try temporarily disabling that add-on.

Or try another browser as a test. If the link appears in another browser, try clearing your cache and eBay cookies in Firefox.

Shutting down my ad blocker was the 1st thing I tried but it didnt work. The customization button is still missing. I know where it is/was, but it's not displaying at all.

Doesn't appear on chrome either, ,doesn't work after clearing cache and cookies, still missing.

It is certainly possible that eBay is testing a new page design for users or locations, or rolling out changes that have not reached my account yet, but since you indicated that "myebay is also screwed up", I would tend to think the problem is more likely due to a conflict of some sort with your browser cache or eBay cookies.

Make absolutely sure you are clearing your cache completely ("for all time" in Chrome), and manually delete any individual eBay cookies -- a blocked or corrupt cookie might not be erased by a standard "clear all cookies" function.

If you have any common browser add-ons in both browsers, try temporarily disabling those, too, just in case one is causing a conflict.

The "Customize" link appears for me even when I am not signed in to my eBay account and while using a private or incognito browser window, so it does not appear to be an account issue.
