I sold two items to an individual on January 25th. When I shipped the items an automated message was sent to the buyer stating that there would be a possible early delivery date of January 29th - versus the expected delivery date of between Jan 31 and Feb 3. On exactly, January 29th the buyer requested a refund due to the items not arriving on the early date they were given. The tracking clearly showed that the items were on the way. Tracking showed that they were delivered on Monday, January 31st - definitely within the Jan 31 - Feb 3 range. For some reason that cannot be explained, eBay refunded her the entire $90 that she paid for the items. So, she received the items AND a refund. Why on earth would eBay give her money for items not arriving on time when they arrived on time and nothing was wrong with them? I am baffled.
