I have not sold items on Ebay for a year or so. My past selling experiences have been excellent. I listed 2 items during the past 3 weeks. Both items have had non-paying buyers. Why is it O.K. for these buyers not to pay? In researching Ebay's current no pay policies it appears the non-paying buyers receive a slap on the hand if even that. Both of these non-paying buyers do not seem to care that they are wasting my time and effort. I think it is time to look for another competitive selling option that is more supportive for the sellers and drop ebay altogether.

eBay moved the Nonpaying function to the Resolution Center as a choice for Cancelation. The seller waits 4 days and on the 5th day can file the Cancellation using the "Buyer didn't pay" option. The buyer gets a Nonpayment Strike, the seller gets the selling fee refund by eBay and neither the buyer or seller can leave feedback.

I previously read the ebay non-paying policy. The ebay non-paying policy holds non-paying buyers to very little accountability. Basically it is a slap on the hand. I have bought and sold on ebay for 21 years and it has become apparent that ebay's current policy towards non-paying buyers is becoming a waste of my selling time and effort.

I block buyers with 2 or more unpaid item strikes. I doubt I have received even 4 non-payers in my 20+ years of selling. Do you have your buyer requirements in place?

Yes, my buyer requirements were and are in place. This will not fully stop deadbeat buyers. I have blocked the 1st non-paying buyer. The 2nd non-payer will be blocked after their 4 days to pay expires. After not selling on ebay for a few years it appears ebay's policies have turned ebay into the wild west for buyers. What a shame.
