Hi I have been an Ebay seller since 2012 and my sales have really declined. I finally had 2 sales close together, the first sale turned out to be a nightmare when the buyer opened a return a month later after purchase with false claims about the sunglasses they purchased, long story short I didn't give in easily stuck to my integrity of not automatically providing a refund but experienced my first negative feedback. Eventually after a long process I won the case because the buyer couldn't provide pictures of their false accusations and during this time even with horrendous feedback I still managed to sell a second item and the second designer item was shipped using the Ebay authentication process, however the second sale was returned to me because it did not pass authentication. I was schocked because I personally purchased this item at Dillards and had receipt and tags which I could have provided to verify authentication but I didnt include because I figured the Ebay authentication process was flawless and they would figure it out, in addition I didnt want to disclose my personal information. Ebay does return the item to me and tells me I can never relist this item even and I still get charged for the shipping sale. I couldn't believe after stale sales I had 2 horrible experiences back to back, and I question the integrity of the Ebay authentication pocess as an Ebay buyer. I am unsure if my sale was returned to me because they were stricter based on the bogus negative feedback I had on my profile or if the Ebay authentication process is flawed. Anyone else experience problems with the authentication process? Thanks for your time.
