I have shipped over 200 low-price items using the Ebay Standard Envelope and it has been great. However,
for the last week the site has not allowed me to generate a label for this service. I have still had to get purchased items to my customers, so I have been shipping first class and eating the difference. As you might imagine, I'm making nothing or even losing money on these inexpensive items. I have contacted Ebay three times in the last week and they've assured me each time that it is only a temporary problem and will be fixed in "a couple hours" but it's been unavailable for over a week now. Ebay reps I've spoken with have refunded the difference for the first class shipping I've incurred, but why isn't this working. See photo for the error I'm getting. I sent this to Ebay as well and they said it was just a temporary error, but now heading into the second week without being able to use the Ebay Standard Envelope seems more than temporary. Has anyone else had this happen and if so, how was it solved?Ebay Standard Envelope Not Working for a week now

I have not been seeing other reports of this. Did you try clearing your cache and restarting your browser or trying a different browser?
Send a message to the eBay for Business team on Facebook/Twitter to see if they have any advice:

Thanks, I will try their Facebook and Twitter, as you recommend. I have cleared my cache, cookies, changed dimensions, weight, tried it through the bulk shipping tool...everything and I still get the error.

Have you tried with a smaller height? 1" is too thick for the standard envelope - I thought you had to enter 0. Maybe try 11 x 6 x 0.

It says right on the page that it rounds up from the .25" requirement and I have sent over 200 items with the 1" dimension and no problem. It will allow an entry of 0.5" and I've tried that and it doesn't work. The button is never grayed out, it just gives me the error in the photo no matter what I change.

I just used Facebook and it directed me right back here to Ebay Help.

Ok, it sounds like they have changed the 0 height issue. I checked the tech issue board and did not see anything there - I saw you asked on the shipping board, so maybe try posting the issue on the tech board.

To contact customer service on facebook, you need to use the 'send message' function.

Ok, I will try the tech page. I used the send message feature on FB and it provided me with a link to the Ebay help landing page. Thank you for the suggestion.

Were you signed into facebook with the same email as your registered eBay email? If so, it should have opened the messenger window for you.

Yes, it opened the messenger window, I entered my concern, and it provided me with a link to the Ebay Help page. Same email address for both accounts.

I believe your dimensions of 12 x 7 x 1 are too large to use the ebay standard envelope.

Yes. Those dimensions have always worked for me, but I reduced them to 7x4 and it still does not work. Unfortunately, none of the standard fixes have worked. I have opened up multiple tickets with Ebay, called them, had 4 separate chats...still not working.
