So who do I send my package to if I'm in the United States?
Do I send the package to ebay or to the International person and location?
I'm so confused to the cost and expense to where and who I send via USPS
I always use labeling right from my computer so the cost is immediately taken out of my bank account.
I'm just not sure how this new International Shipping thing works and if other sellers are having questions
like myself regarding the cost and how your debited.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Michelle

@auctiongoods4sale If you are still subject to fund holds then the shipping label cost comes from whatever back up payment you use for selling costs just like any other shipping label.
You ship the item to the eBay International Shipping Program location in the US. The buyer will pay for international shipping but YOU only buy a shipping label to the US forwarding center. They have a couple of locations.
I like to use the eBay International Shipping Program. It's easy to use and all you have to do is ship the item to the EIS package forwarding center in the US. Once the package leaves the US eBay handles all refund requests and you keep the sale, this is a great benefit for sellers.
Here are more details about the EIS and what restrictions it has for price, package sizes, and categories:

I've only used the EIS for one item, and it was sent to Glendale Heights,IL

Ok comics-sci-collectibles. sort of understand the concept except for me sending to the EIS package forwarding center in the US?
So does ebay automatically give me a forwarding EIS when I'm mocking up my label so I know where it's going? Do they also give updates once they receive my package?
Appreciate Again, Michelle

@auctiongoods4sale. When you print the label it will have the US package forwarding address and a code on the label that will tie the sale to you and the buyer.

That was so beneficial and very informative.
Now, I just need to pull the trigger on how to send records abroad so I can keep up
with the big dealers here on ebay. I'm sitting on lots of 45 records (of my parents)
and they have given me the opportunity to sell off the massive collection and put
a few dollars in my bank account.
Just not sure how to use the USPS shipping rates yet but I'm sure I can figure it out.
If you have any input on who I shouldn't send overseas that would be beneficial.
China and Russia come to mind and places like Iran etc....just don't think they are places
that I really want to do business because of hostile relations from a political point of view.
It's not the people it's the governments that I'm referencing here.
Anyhow, thanks once again. Michelle

@auctiongoods4sale If you use the eBay international shipping program you don't need to worry AT ALL about where you ship. Once the item leaves the US eBay handles ALL refund requests and refunds the buyer out their pocket and you keep the sale.
You can ship records using Media Mail. If they are more expensive records then I would consider using, Ground Advantage or Priority Shipping. Ground Advantage and Priority both come with $100 insurance.
Media Mail does not have any insurance.
You can compare shipping services using this calculator:
https://www.ebay.com/shp/Calculator ( change to package rate)
